When and where is the event?
This event is hosted on July 20th 2024 at the Steelworkers Hall, 66 Brady St, Sudbury, ON.
I’ve attended this event in the past, is this the same thing?
NO! While the event at heart will be the same, a Hogwarts themed dinner soiree, this year’s event is all new! New organizers, new venue, new charity, new name, new energy! Many components of the evening will be similar, with some changes along the way. We are not affiliated with the previous event or organizers in any way.
Will there be food?
YES! The Steelworkers Hall will be serving a full buffet to ensure everyone gets ample food! We will also have Butter beer available for purchase! Table seating will be pre-assigned by ticket number, so if you want to sit with your friends, best to buy tickets together. Dinner will be served in the great hall. Family style snacks will be available at the tables and dinner will be served at 6:30 PM.
Will we receive a physical ticket?
Unfortunately no, this year all tickets will be digital through Event Brite. Given the logistical issues in the past with guests not receiving tickets on time, we as a team felt it best to ensure guests receive their tickets immediately to alleviate any concerns from prior years.
Is this an all ages event?
Of course! There will be plenty of interactive games and things to do for the whole family.
What can we expect from the event?
Guests will be welcomed to Kings Cross station and will be prompted to meet at platform Nine and three quarters. The doors will open at 5:00 PM for VIP pass holders and 5:30 for general pass holders. Guests will be greeted by our MC for the evening, HOT 93.5’s G-Rant. There will be a complimentary photo booth, plenty of vendors, face painting, a magician and even a head table complete with all your favourite professors. There will be a silent auction and the NOFCC will be on hand to accept donations as well.
